The Thirty Fourth Music Conference of The Bangalore Gayana Samaja will be held from Sunday, the 20th October to 27th October 2002. “Venu Naada Vaibhava” is the theme of the conference and Sri B. Shankara Rao, an eminent flautist and the Conference President will preside over the Expert Sessions.

Music Concerts are being organized every sunday morning at Cubbon Park band stand and Lalbhag band stand between 6:30 am to 8:00 am.
BALA PRATHIBE, KISHORA PRATIBHE, PRASHASTHI PRADHANA SAMARAMBHA
State level cultural competition on dance, music, etc., will be held for children below 12 years and children between the age of 13 and 19 in the month of October and the winner will be conferred the Bala Prathibe and Kishora Prathibe awards. This award function will be held on 14th November to go in tune with Children’s Day celebrations.
